I am a writer, artist and maker based in Lancaster.
My practice is a multi-disciplinary exploration of temporality, memory, material, gender, place, and the process of making itself.
It could also be said that my practice is concerned with a push-pull between the tangible and the intangible or invisible, and representations of this in and through art.
My research interests include abstraction in the textile and drawing practices of women artists; cyclical temporality in natural and cosmic life; and hybrid forms of writing, particularly involving non-linearity, fragmented forms and a memoiristic sensibility.
